Term 1: Autumn 23: Slime - Instructions here

Hello, I am Mrs Elborn. I am new to Red Oaks and I teach in year 2. I am really excited to be leading science in the school; I love investigating and carrying out experiments as I learn more and more about the amazing world around me.
Here is the term 1 science challenge, one that I thought looks like lots of fun!

Oct 19th: Another super scientist has made slime, very well done! You must have followed the instructions very carefully. Oct 18th: These super scientists have successfully made slime! Well done - you have both done a super job! Oct 17th: Two more brilliant scientists have taken on the termly challenge and successfully made slime, well done! Oct 16th: This super scientist had two attempts at making slime. Attempt two was much stickier than the first go and it was great fun to play with! Oct 16th: Picture One: Another two super scientists have thoroughly enjoyed this term's science experiment. They now want to see how slime reacts in space with microgravity! Picture Two: Well done to these enthusiastic scientists who have made some slime. This slime smelt lovely thanks to the laundry capsules they used!  Oct 13th: We have some more slime! This scientist spotted that changing the proportions of the ingredients changes the texture of the slime. Well done! Oct 12th: More slime has been created by this excellent scientist! Very well done for completing our Term 1 Science Challenge! Oct 12th: Some more super scientists have been busy making slime! What a great job they did, well done!
