Spring 24: Weddings
This week we have been learning about weddings. To say the children have love it is an understatement! They have been engrossed looking at photographs of their parents weddings and loved talking about who is in the photographs. We have designed wedding cakes, wedding dresses, talked about how we would travel to the wedding venue (everyone was super excited about this) and explored the meaning around lots of wedding traditions in a range of cultures. The children were so creative and wanted to roleplay their own wedding ceremony. This was an absolute delight to watch. We finished the week off using our attention to detail on reading scales from last week, by making our own wedding cupcakes! They were delicious!
