Celebrating Children 2019-2020 - Nursery: Mrs Granger
March 20: Science Week and Sport Relief
We have and a very busy week in Nursery this week. It was Science week and the children learned about how to look after our planet – recycle plastic, don't waste paper and don’t waste water too, plus they did lots of exciting experiments. They made ‘oceans’ in bottles, planted cress and mustard seed to make ‘'Cress Heads', experimented with ice to find out what makes it melt faster, made our own paper by recycling scrap paper and did chromatography with water, skittles and marker pens.
On top of this we did 20 minutes of exercise every day and ran a 'Golden Mile' for Sports Relief! Then on Friday we joined the whole school to do dancing in the MUGA!
